    May 12, 2020

Today on the last day of nurses' week, on Florence Nightingale's 200th birthday, I want to pay tribute to one group of nurses, my classmates at the UP College of Nursing Class '79.  Sadly this year we won't have our yearly school alumni association (UPNAAI) reunion.  Was looking forward to seeing my classmates & others who are doing their best for the betterment of the nursing profession.

    This was us then...

This is us last August 2019!!!

UP College of Nursing Celebrates Foundation Day

This year, UPCN is celebrating UPCN Foundation Day virtually.  In a show of solidarity with the nurses and other health workers in the frontline fighting in the COVID-19 pandemic, featured are some inspirational words from our alumni in the College's Facebook site.

You are highly encouraged to share your thoughts and stories by clicking on the link below:

Also, in recognition of the International Year of Nurses and Midwife, UPCN has released a position statement urging the government and private sector to support nurses and midwives by increasing investment to education, workplace environment and welfare of nurses. It also reiterates the commitment of UPCN to provide quality education, community service and leadership in nursing development.
